El circuito de marcha en vacío del carburador, regula la mezcla de combustible y aire estando el dosificador cerrado casi por completo, El enriquecimiento o el empobrecimiento de la mezcla de aire y combustible, es llevado a cabo por el tornillo de control de volumen, el tornillo de ajuste de la velocidad de la marcha en vacío, controla la velocidad de la marcha en vacío del motor.

El diseño mejorado del segmento tope de la marcha en vacío que hay en la leva de la marcha rápida en vacío, asegura la exactitud de la velocidad de la marcha en vacío con la posición del ahogador, a partir del momento en que el motor se pone en marcha, hasta que alcanza su temperatura normal de funcionamiento.

Al precalentar la admisión se evita la condensación del vapor del combustible y ayuda también a crear una mezcla de más fácil combustión.

PARA DESMONTAR

(1) Desconecte la conexión del precalentador que está en el tubo de admisión del filtro de aire en baño de aceite.

(2) Afloje los montajes y desmonte el filtro de aire en baño de aceite y codo.

(3) Desconecte el conducto de combustible que conecta la bomba de combustible al carburador.

(4) Del elemento calefactor, desconecte el conector que va montado a presión.

(5) Del carburador, desconecte el tubo de vacío.

(6) Separe el cable del acelerador de la palanca del dosificador y saque el resorte, la arandela y el pasador giratorio del cable.

(7) Afloje las tuercas de montaje del carburador que hay en los birlos y desmonte el carburador.

PARA INSTALAR

Proceda a la inversa para instalar, teniendo cuidado con los puntos siguientes:

(1) Instale un empaque nuevo entre el carburador y la brida del múltiple de admisión.

(2) Para conectar el cable del acelerador sobre la palanca del dosificador, abra primero dicho dosificador para obtener una tolerancia de 1.016 Mm. Entre la palanca del dosificador y el tope del cuerpo del carburador en posición de abertura casi total. Oprima el pedal del acelerador hasta el límite de su recorrido y conecte el cable a la palanca del dosificador. Asegúrese que todas las demás articulaciones queden instaladas sin ningún juego y sin ninguna tensión.

(3) El tornillo de sujeción del codo de admisión, no deberá apretarse más allá de los límites razonables.

(4) No se olvide conectar el tubo del elemento calefactor al tubo de admisión del filtro de aire.

(5) Para ajustar la velocidad de marcha en vacío siempre espere a que el motor haya alcanzado su temperatura normal de funcionamiento.

PARA DESARMAR

(1) Tal como fue descrito, desmonte el carburador.

(2) Separe las porciones superior e inferior del carburador desmontando los cinco tornillos de sujeción.

(3) Desatornille la válvula de aguja del flotador.

(4) Afloje los tres tornillos de sujeción del retén del ahogador automático y retire el anillo de retención con la placa de cerámica, el resorte bimetálico y el elemento calefactor.

(5) Desmonte el flotador y el pasador de apoyo.

Haga girar el motor. La carrera se puede alterar, según sea necesario, instalando la cantidad adecuada de empaques a la brida intermedia. No deberá instalarse menor cantidad de empaques que los requeridos, ya que ello dañaría al diafragma y al mecanismo impulsor. Desmonte los empaques y la brida intermedia.

PARA INSTALAR

Proceda a la inversa para instalar, teniendo cuidado con los puntos siguientes:

(1) Antes de instalar la bomba, utilizando grasa universal, llene la cámara inferior de ésta.

(2) Coloque los birlos de montaje, un empaque, la brida intermedia, un segundo empaque y luego la bomba de combustible, de manera que la cubierta de inspección de la bomba quede hacia la izquierda, Atornille las tuercas de sujeción y apriételas a la torsión especificada, estando el motor caliente.

(3) Conecte el conducto y la manguera de combustible.


NOTA: Asegúrese que la virola de hule del conducto del combustible quede correctamente asentada en la placa cubierta delantera del motor.

PARA DESARMAR

(1) Tal como fue descrito, desmonte la bomba de combustible.

(2) Extraiga el anillo de fijación del pasador del balancín

(3) Utilizando un botador adecuado, saque el pasador del balancín.

(4) De la cubierta de inspección, saque el resorte de retroceso del balancín.

(5) Utilizando un destornillador, saque el resorte de retroceso del balancín.

(6) Afloje el tornillo de la cubierta superior y desmóntela.

(7) Desde la parte superior, desmonte el filtro de gasa con mucho cuidado.

(8) Saque los seis tornillos de sujeción y separe la dos porciones de la bomba de combustible.

(9) Con el índice y con el pulgar, presione hacia abajo el diafragma y saque el balancín.

(10) Desde la porción inferior de la bomba, desmonte el diafragma con el resorte y el empaque.

PARA ARMAR

Proceda a la inversa para armar, teniendo cuidado con los puntos siguientes:

(1) Revise con cuidado las válvulas de succión y de descarga, reemplazándolas si fuese necesario.

(2) Revise si el diafragma y el empaque de hule de la cubierta superior han sufrido desgaste o deterioro, reemplazándolos si fuese necesario.

(3) Con el pulgar y el índice, presione hacia abajo el diafragma y su resorte e inserte el balancín en el diafragma. Inserte también el pasador del balancín y fijelo con el anillo de fijación.

(4) Coloque al cuerpo inferior de la bomba en un tornillo de banco. El diafragma deberá colocarse en la posición adecuada de armado nivelándolo con la cara del cuerpo inferior.

(5) La posición superior de la bomba ya se podrá colocar en su lugar, quedando las conexiones del combustible por encima de la cubierta de inspección. Asegúrese que el diafragma quede correctamente asentado, sin pliegues ni dobleces. Introduzca el filtro con su lado plano hacia abajo. No omita instalar la arandela selladora de fibra entre la cubierta de la bomba y el tornillo de montaje.

(6) Utilizando grasa universal, empaque la porción inferior de la bomba. A temperatura normal de funcionamiento, la grasa se licua, la cual hace que todas las partes móviles se lubriquen. Una indicación de que el diafragma tiene fugas, es cuando el balancín y las varillas de empuje tienen fugas de aceite o de grasa.

(7) Verifique que el balancín asiente correctamente.

El filtro de aire, como su nombre lo indica, filtra el polvo y la arenilla que hay en el aire antes que éste entre al motor, prolongando con ello su vida útil.

No es suficiente tener instalado un filtro de aire, hay que asegurarse también que esté en buenas condiciones, dándole servicio de mantenimiento a intervalos regulares.

FILTRO DE AIRE EN BAÑO DE ACEITE

Este tipo de filtro requiere un mantenimiento cada 5600 Km aproximadamente, siempre y cuando el motor esté funcionando bajo condiciones normales.

El aceite contaminado deberá vaciarse del recipiente de aceite que tiene el filtro, limpiando perfectamente dicho recipiente, y se deberá volver a llenar con aceite limpio de motor, SAE 20, hasta la marca de nivel, (no se exceda de esta marca, Enjuague al elemento filtrante en gasolina o en cualquier otro disolvente limpiador, revise el nivel de aceite cada 2000 Km aproximadamente).

PARA DESMONTAR EL FILTRO DE AIRE

(1) Separe el filtro de aire del tubo de admisión.

(2) Separe el filtro de aire del carburador, aflojando el tornillo de la abrazadera. Saque del motor el filtro de aire, levantándolo.

PARA INSTALAR EL FILTRO DE AIRE

Proceda a la inversa para instalar, teniendo cuidado con el punto siguiente:

(1) No apriete demasiado el filtro de aire, ya que la toma de aire del carburador se podría dañar.
